FAQ

A few questions collectors and artists ask early

A concise guide to how Artminta stays handmade, curated, and easy to browse.

What can be sold on Artminta?

Artminta is for handmade ACEOs, handmade artist trading cards, and carefully made limited ACEO editions. The focus stays on original miniature art and real studio practice.

Are AI-generated images allowed?

No. Artminta is handmade-first. Collectors come here for real materials, real mark-making, and real artists, so AI-generated listing content does not fit the marketplace.

Why do listings include process images?

A process glimpse helps collectors trust what they are seeing. It also gives each ACEO more story, which matters in a small-format collectible space.

Is Buy Now or auction the main way to collect?

Buy Now is the primary path because it keeps collecting simple. Auctions exist for artists and collectors who enjoy a more active listing format.

What are the seller fees?

Artminta launch sellers pay no listing fees. The first 250 artist accounts become Founding Artists at a 5% seller fee, while other launch sellers pay 8% when work sells.

How does the founder program work?

Founder status is assigned automatically to the first 250 artist accounts. Founders receive a founder badge, a founder number, and the 5% launch seller rate.

Do auctions use a different fee?

Not during Phase 1. Auctions follow the same seller fee structure as standard listings so the launch model stays simple and predictable.

What are Weekly Drops?

Weekly Drops are curated features for artists who want extra visibility. They are not paid placement. Artists can opt in during signup and selections can later consider activity, fit, and handmade trust.

How do payouts work?

Artminta routes payments through Stripe. Sellers need to complete Stripe onboarding before their storefront is checkout-ready, so buyers never reach a broken payment flow.

Can new artists apply early?

Yes. Artminta welcomes emerging ACEO artists who care about handmade work, thoughtful presentation, and a collector-friendly storefront.
