Original work & copyright
Original work, artist authorship, and copyright clarity
Artminta exists to support original handmade ACEO cards. This page explains what originality means on the platform and how artist copyright is treated.
Original handmade work only
Listings should represent original handmade ACEO art or clearly described handmade limited editions that belong on the platform. Counterfeit work, misleading reproductions, copycat uploads, and AI-generated listing dumps are not compatible with Artminta.
Collectors come here to discover original handmade miniature art with a visible human maker behind it.
Copyright stays with the artist
Buying a physical ACEO does not automatically transfer copyright unless the artist explicitly states otherwise in writing. Artists retain copyright in their work by default, including the right to display, license, or reproduce it where appropriate.
Artminta facilitates the sale of the artwork. It does not assume ownership of the underlying intellectual property.
What happens when work is misleading
Listings that appear copied, deceptive, mass-produced, or disconnected from a real studio process may be reviewed or removed. Repeat behavior can lead to account limits or removal.
This helps keep Artminta useful for buyers and honest artists.
