Moon Flower

This aceo is made from two photographic images, layered over each other and then developed using cyanotype, an old alternative process method using iron salts and the sun. The daisies were from my yard, and the moon photo was courtesy of NASA, where images are in the public domain and available to artists. Every cyanotype is unique, and I use a mat cut to ACEO size to fine the best composition. All the neighbors and the guys doing the trash looked this one over while it was in the sun, being exposed!
