A quiet study of a 17th century work dress, hand printed in a small edition of nine. This piece lingers on a garment made not for display, but for daily life. In its simplicity there is a steady, unspoken presence, shaped by use, time and the rhythm of work. Printed at a small intimate scale, it asks to be held close and looked at slowly, where the lines and form reveal themselves over time. Each print is pulled by hand using traditional relief printing methods on acid free Xuan paper, chosen for its soft strength and subtle texture. The scale is intimate, inviting a closer look at the lines and form of this historical garment. No two impressions are ever completely identical. Slight variations in ink and pressure are part of the process and speak to the hand of the maker. I ship for free in Canada only with regular mail, no tracking. 4 to 14 days in a protected envelope.
